Dawn Crossland is a Senior Project Director. As a formally trained focus group moderator, she designs and manages qualitative as well as quantitative research projects on various subjects. Crossland has considerable experience conducting surveys at both the national and local level concerning civic participation, arts and culture, and the behavior and attitudes of young people. In more than 10 years with PSRAI, she has directed studies on these issues for a wide range of clients, including The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, The Institute For the Future and Child Trends.
Prior to entering the world of survey research, Crossland worked with the José Limón Dance Foundation in New York City, where she was involved with the daily operations of both the Limón Dance Company and the teaching program. She is a graduate of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
