Choosing a research company as a partner is often a complex decision. PSRAI is often the right partner for research that matters.
PSRAI is an independent firm dedicated to high-quality research providing reliable, valid results for clients in the United States and around the world. We offer innovative research design, methodologically-sound procedures, careful supervision of data collection, sophisticated data analysis and clear, insightful and engaging reports. PSRAI has designed and implemented complex research efforts for clients ranging from foundations and non-profits, news organizations to major international corporations.
From our offices in Washington DC and Princeton NJ, our staff delivers the research our clients need on time and on budget. PSRAI is the right partner for many research projects. But we are the first to say we are not always the right partner for a project. To learn more about PSRAI staff and principals, click here.

Princeton Survey Research was founded in 1989 by Andrew Kohut, after 10 years as President of The Gallup Organization. The team he brought to PSRAI first came together as the core of Gallup's public opinion and methodology divisions, including Dr. Diane Colasanto, long recognized as one of the nation’s premier survey methodologists.
The principals of PSRAI have helped build the company in the past decade and a half. Larry Hugick joined PSRAI in 1992. Mary McIntosh joined PSRAI in 1997 to open our Washington office. And Evans Witt joined the company in 1998.
In 2003, Hugick, McIntosh and Witt purchased Princeton Survey Research Associates from Mr. Kohut and Dr. Colasanto and created Princeton Survey Research Associates International.
Mr. Kohut and Dr. Colasanto have retired from day-to-day involvement in PSRAI. Both remain on the PSRAI Board of Directors.
